Calvary Baptist Chapel

Pastor Josh Parson is a husband and father to a wonderful family. He and His beautiful wife met in college and have been married since 2004.  He has 3 delightful daughters that he loves and enjoys spending time with.

Pastor Josh graduated from Tennessee Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in Bible. He served the Lord for 2 years in West Virginia as the youth director of Rock Branch Independent Church before first coming to Calvary Baptist Chapel. Pastor Josh then served here for 4 years as the youth director, before the Lord led him to fulltime ministry at Mission Hill Baptist Church in Palmyra, Missouri. While at Mission Hill he was ordained under the leadership of Pastor Kent Lewis. And he continued to serve the Lord there at Mission Hill Baptist Church for 11 years as Youth Pastor.  Upon the retirement of Chuck Trent, the church founder and pastor of Calvary Baptist Chapel for 43 years, the church voted on July 29, 2021 and called Joshua to become their new Pastor. The church is very excited to have Pastor Josh here and is looking forward to what God will do as he serves Him here at Calvary.
